Two days of songwriters’ music between recent past and present

Newborn Alto Reno Terme town would like to offer new occasions for fun, culture and leisure through a tight schedule of events, film selection and festivals, for all its inhabitants and for all those who have been choosing our territory for years to enjoy the thermal baths and the valley’s beautiful landscapes.
Every event offers the opportunity to the whole community to actively participate, to show their cultural tradition and to bring out creative potentials and new talents, especially the youngest. Alto Reno Terme proposes itself as a breeding ground of those who would like to achieve something new.
Two days dedicated to songwriters’ music, in the magical and traditional scenario of the Rufus Thomas Park in Porretta Terme born to welcome theatrical and musical performances.
The first day, entitled “Tarocchi Festival” will be dedicated to three great Italian songwriters: Fabrizio De Andrè, Rino Gaetano and Adriano Celentano. A tribute to three Italian great artists, performed by three young artists who bring around with passion in Italy musical works. A cross section narrative of our country, a part of our present, yet rarely broadcast on radio and TV.
The second evening will focus on the musical promises: three young artists who havee chosen not to play for talent shows, finding instead inspiration by observing and living the real society, the streets, and the cities. Three young artists who deserve to exhibit on the Rufus Thomas Park stage to show their skills.
The evening will end with the live performance of the PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi).
