ONE DAY HIKE: PORRETTA TERME TO MONTE PIELLA

DESCRIPTION


  • Walking distance : 3 hours
  • Difficulty : Low
  • Elevation : 846 meters

Starting from the trek C.A.I. 107 in Porretta Terme you go up to Cà di Marsili until you reach Castelluccio: a visit to the village allows you to discover the Manservisi Castle, the Etnographic Laborantes Museum and the church of S. Maria Assunta.

Continuing on trek C.A.I. 107 you will leave the village toward a chapel, turning to the left, following trek C.A.I 107, you will rise to the altitude of 1,100 meters a.s.l. where following the trek C.A.I. 107A, you will reach Monte Piella.

Like most hiking treks in Granaglione it is advisable to wear boots, long pants and wind jackets.
