ALTO RENO TERME NATURE, ADVENTURES, FOOD, WELLNESS & HOSPITALITY IN THE TUSCAN-EMILIAN APENNINES

Alto Reno Terme, a land born from the merger of Porretta Terme with Granaglione, is located in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, in the valley of the Reno river. It is 59 km from Bologna and 34 km from Pistoia, both reachable by the road 64 and the Porrettana railway. What characterizes Alto Reno Terme is its environmental quality and favorable geographical location. Barycentric with respect to major cities of art, rich in well-known villages and sanctuaries, an attraction for thermal tourism, for snow activities, for the many health opportunities propitiated by the richness of the green, the Alto Reno area has developed over the years a very widespread culture of hospitality and a significant food and wine tradition thanks to the encounter between two regions.

There are many attractions: between a relaxing stop at the Terme di Porretta and a visit to the Manservisi Castle in Castelluccio, you can visit some museums (Soul Museum, Wood Museum, Typographical Museum and Laborantes Museum), take a walk along the Ca treks leading to the Monte della Croce and enjoy the view from above or follow the River Path on a sunny day. Also the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Ponte, the Church of Maria Maddalena and the Immacolata (where it is possible to visit one of the largest mechanical cribs in Italy).

And again, getting lost in the historic streets of the center, enjoying a drink or an ice cream or visiting chestnut woods reliving the past while drinking pure spring water.
